Is there a limit to how many people can be in group chat?

how do you add people to an existing group? I don’t see the + add button?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

If you don't see the add button, the group is a mix of iPhones and Androids. You cannot edit these groups. You will have to create a new group.
