I got an Apple Watch and I was able to pair to my phone and everything was good. But then I got a new phone later on with the same Apple ID and iCloud information but it won’t connect to my watch

Sorry to hear you’re going through this, here is what you need first:

  • Your Apple ID and password (so you can turn off Activation Lock)
  • Your old and new iPhone both need to be connected to Wi-Fi
  • Your Apple Watch and iPhone both need to be at least 50 percent charged
  • Your Apple Watch passcode (get help if you forgot your passcode)


Once you’re prepared please follow the steps explained in this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205189
