Will a cellular Apple Watch work with alocal SIM in Israel?

Hi, I would like to Know if when I buy a cellular watch in the US it will allow me to use local SIM in Israel? Thank you

A cellular watch bought in the US will only function in North America,Canada,Mexico and Puerto Rico anywhere else it will function as a GPS only watch.
