Why can we not remove someone from a group text? Also how come I receive group texts with spam an I can’t remove myself from those groups, an how do they even get my phone number?

Because the people who designed the texting protocol designed it to work that way. It has nothing to do with Apple, who can’t do anything about it because texting is controlled by the cellular network providers, not by Apple. Complain to your carrier.
