delete macos files

hello,,

after updating to monterey i found 15 + GB used for macos files, which is consuming almost 10% of my storage, how can i delete those files?

NB,, those are different that system files which are almost 20 GB

Hi Mo_issam,


The macOS category only contains files that are necessary to run macOS (the operating system). This category cannot be reduced or deleted.


However, you can reduce the System/Other category by following the recommendations in this user tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250002781
