My mission control is not working, I have restarted/shut down my Mac book, gone through the system preferences to ensure that the mission control gesture is on. Further, the mission control button on my laptop will not even open mission control. How do I go about fixing this issue?

Same. Just had it happen on my M1x MBP. Came here to look for fixes, but I guess I'll just restart again.
Will feedback to apple. Please do the same if you have this issue so it gets looked at.
In my MBP Pro M1 running Monterey, sometimes Mission Control and Expose unexpectedly stop running, and the only fix I know is restarting the machine.
It's annoying and never ever happened before in older machines and OS
I am having this same issue. On my M1 Mac, Mission Control just stops. Must reboot to get it working again.
