Charging iPad

When I plug my iPad into charger it doesn’t start charging. If I’m lucky and plug it in and out or hold it just right it will charge. I have gone through many cords. This time I made sure to have a cord made by Apple. However I lost the original USB block from Apple. Is there another way like wireless?

No model of iPad supports wireless/inductive charging.

Replacement Apple Power Adapters (and cables) are inexpensive, high quality - and readily available online from Apple, Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Retailers.
