I bought an Iphone 11 - there is no charger with it?

Yes. Apple no longer includes the charge cube, the headphones or the headphone adapter.

how do I charge then?
If you have an existing Lightning cable from a previous iPhone, you could use that. Without an existing cable, you would need a USB-C charge cube.
My cable is 6 years old .same wage as my old Iphone6. So need to be replaced also.. so new phone, new cable I should expect. Not very commercial from Apple…
