Hello, since updating to monterey preview opens every file in a separate window instead of opening new tabs. I have "prefer tabs" set to "always" in the general settings, and in the preview preferences there does not seem to be an option for this.
Is this a bug in monterey or does anyone know how to resolve this?

It's too early to know whether it's a bug or a change in behavior. You can force tabs by opening multiple windows then choosing "Merge All Windows" from Preview's Window menu.

I have the preference set to merge, but it makes no difference, all links open a new window of Safari, which means I end up with multiple open safari windows! Very annoying after a day's work!
This has only been happening since I loaded Monterey.

FWIW, this thread is about Preview not Safari. You should start your own thread if you're having a problem with tabs in Safari.
My issue is that it will open a new tab but will not open the link. Goes to the homepage to select a bookmark.
