Buying Apple Watch Series 7 and using in Australia

I’m from Australia and I’m most likely buying a watch from the USA (North America). If I get cellular and gps will it work back in Australia, with Series 7?

Appreciate any advice.

Nothing has changed with the Series 7.

there are still 2 radios.

• Canada, U.S., Mexico, Puerto Rico

• The rest of the world.

Whether things are different with Series 7, cellular US models in the past would not work with Australian carriers. Why even take a chance on buying a watch which could have compatibility issues where you live? Buy your watch in Australia and you won't have any issues.
