Battery draining/jumping too quickly

I am using the iPhone SE(1st gen) and the battery health reads 93%. The battery drains very quickly than before. I have calibrated the battery several times but the battery keeps jumping. Is it possible that my battery needs replacement regardless of the battery health reading which is at 93%? I’m running on iOS 15.

Yes if the battery is original then 93% is a little suspicious. I had similar problems with a 6S that said 83% but had heavy stepwise drain and failed this test:-

Check iphone battery for self discharge

If the problem of big jumps in charge level remains or if it does have self-discharge then arrange a repair

Also check battery graph for obvious drainers and remove them, including VPNs that are notoriously incompatible with iOS 15.

Between midnight and 4am it was charging while turned off. I guess that’s the reason that space is empty. So do you suggest I replace the battery? I’ve seen a couple of high capacity batteries online which I wanted to try out. 1900mah instead of the regular 1624mah.

You battery graph is so satisfying, wish mine were like that. I suppose you’re using the latest model.

I would not recommend turning the phone off for charging. Leave it on and charge all night every night, and if needed during the day.

I would not recommend DIY repairs or third party repairs when Apple will guarantee the repair for $49 or £49. The equipment and skill required to crack open an iphone without breaking something is not possessed by many.

That graph was probably my 12 but 6S has similar graphs.
