Can't download Fitness app on iPad

iPad Air 3 on iPadOS 14.6, Series 6 on watchOS 8.1.

iPad shows "This app requires specific features not available on this device."

Tried rebooting, soft resets, resetting all settings -> no joy.

(Work iPad cannot be updated, it's a corporate/ managed iPad, but I downloaded it on another iPad with iPadOS 14.5 and it downloads just fine, so it's not that.)

Does anyone have another way to get this to work?

I signed out of iCloud on the iPad and the Watch; rebooted both, and signed back in to iCloud - this resolved my issue while staying on iPadOS 14.6

Okay, my bad.

I believe ALL devices need to be ON ALL the current versions to be able to interact with the Fitness app on iPad.

This has been the case in the past with using the Fitness app on iPad.

Your iPad may need to on the current version of iPadOS 15.

It is now too late to upgrade that iPad to iPadOS 14.8, now.

An iPad on an earlier version of iPadOS isn't going to work.
