iPad Pro 12.9 screen vs 11 screen

Is there a noticeable difference between the quality of the 12.9" and the 11" screens in the iPad Pro?

The 2021 iPad Pro 11” uses a traditional edge-backlight system with which to illuminate the TFT LCD panel.
By contrast, the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 XDR-screen uses the entirely different miniLED backlight system - which uses an array of LEDs distributed across the entire area of the LCD panel. This array provides a brighter panel, zone-dimming and increased contrast and higher dynamic range - in addition to much improved power efficiency.
Placed side-by-side, the difference between the two LCD panel technologies are visibly discernible.
