How to convert cases: Upper to lower and vice versa

I pasted and copied a text in the body of my message and now all the following text is in upper case. Any suggestions on how to go back to lower case?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

The Mac clipboard does not change the original upper-case text to lower-case for you, nor does the hosting software in these communities. Ensure you have lower-case when you copy to the clipboard, and it will be lower-case when pasted here.

Open Text Edit Application.

There is also Transformations there...

One way is in a new Text Edit doc, type a space then copy it, paste that in the other one.
