Big Sur 11.6.1 update not recognized

FWIW, the only way you could have Big Sur 11.6.1 installed is if you signed up for one of the beta programs. The reason you have received more than one Big Sur 11.6.1 update notice is because every time a new beta is created you would receive a new notice for the new beta version.

As I said before, Big Sur 11.6.1 is not released as yet.

Big Sur 11.6.1 has not been released. Either you signed up for the Big Sur beta program or you installed it through the Terminal.

No one said anything about Monterey beta.

As has already been mentioned Big Sur 11.6 is the Last Officially Released Version.

Anything out side of that is Beta and is off the table for discussion as per the Rule Governing the ASC Forums.
