Apple Watch won't turn on

My Apple watch (series 4) tried to send out an SOS alert twice as I was driving down the road. I was able to get the call stop. In a fluster during the 2nd attempt to stop, I turned my watch off. Now, it will not turn on again. I have held the crown dial and side button down, but it still does not turn on. I have it on the charger, but all it does is flash the apple logo repeatedly. It also feels like it is getting very warm on the charger.
