Mini keyboard menu at bottom of ipad screen

Since IOS 15 upgrade I have had keyboard issues. I have a small menu at the bottom of my screen when I open an app. I can “minimize” it with a pull down menu and it hides in a corner. But if I open a different app it jumps back open and at the bottom again. It shows a keyboard icon, up and down arrows and a mic. How to I turn it off. I have Ipad 12 pro max on an apple keyboard case.

Hi aniellofromaustin, navigate to Settings > General > Keyboard, then switch off Shortcuts and Predictive.
