I cannot save a WORD document into a PDF document anymore (for a couple of days now), neither through "FILE > SAVE AS", nor through "PRINT > SAVE AS PDF". When I try to save as a PDF, I receive now an error message saying "the document (name) has not been saved" (see picture). When I try to PRINT, there is no reaction at all. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. Pascal

I am working on a MacBook Pro with MacOS Big Sur 11.6 updated on Sep 27, 2021. There is even no reaction at all with the PRINT option anymore. I have the feeling all these problems occurred after my last update of MacOS.
Verify your thirdparty software is compatible and up to date:
If you have Office 2011 for Mac or before WILL NOT run, For Catalina Office 2016 for Mac needs to be v15.35 or later.
Update the software : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac
Big Sur compatibility—Microsoft recently announced that it was officially ending support for Office 2016 for Mac on October 13, 2020. Apple Silicon compatibility in Office 2016 is questionable. Office 2019 no issues
The current Office for Mac; Office 365 or Office 2019 (One-time purchase) are OK with Catalina/Big Sur
To activate a Microsoft Office 365 subscription you simply enter the email address you used when you extended the subscription with Microsoft.
