increase hard drive

I have a 2020 Mac Book Air with 250 GB HD,

and I'd like to increase to a larger SSD if possible

The SSD inside is fixed and cannot be changed. Options are:

Buy an external drive and move a large portion of your user data to it
Buy a new MacBook Air with a larger drive,
