Why do my emails disappear after one month?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.5

Thank you. I'm not sure if that will work because it's not deleted messages that disappear after one month, it's messages in the inbox. I changed the behaviour anyway and will keep an eye on it.

That is because the User has set it up to do it that way.

Inbox deletion of e-mail after one month - alternative and has worked here for a very long time. In the picture supplied earlier, noticed a " Archive Mailbox ". Have messages from 2 - 3 - 4 months old stored in this mailbox. Have all the 2 month e-mails Flagged green, 3 month flagged orange and 4 month flagged red.

Just a thought to consider.
