My laptop is qualified for the Catalina update, but I can't update it. I need help

my MacBook Pro is qualified to update to the Catalina version, but I can't seem to update it. my laptop is formatted which means it has enough space to update. I updated it to the last version and its only 10.12.5

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.12
