Bought a new iphone and am transferring data all is well until I get to installing updates. Update installs and then says 'Preparing Updates". and go on and on a never leaves preparing updates. Restarted phone, restarted process and same thing. Upgrading from an iphone 6 to a iphone XR

We would like to see how we can help you with your iPhone. Are you in the middle of the Quick Start process? Your iPhone 6 must be using iOS 12.4 or later, to complete that process.
