Firstly - as per user Profile showing MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0. Is that correct ?? If Yes, this computers software is very out dated. The current version of Big Sur is 11.6 which brings many bug and security fixes.

It may or may not improve the overall performance of the computer.

We have no idea what your mac model is, how much RAM, what is the system drive, or what software it may have installed.

All of that can have an impact on how well it performs.
