My apple pencil is paired to my ipad but wont work at all.

I'm assuming its broken, but I want to make sure it 100% isn't before I get another.

I use the apple pencil (1st gen) for procreate on my 7th gen iPad , its worked fine for an entire year. But randomly it just stopped working, I'm hoping it isn't broken but I just want to see if there's any way to fix it first.

Under Bluetooth it says connected, the apple pencil is fully charged, under the apple pencil settings only draw with apple pencil is turned off, and it doesn't work on any app including the homescreens.

iPad, iPadOS 14

Having tried all that was mentioned, I agree: It is time for a new Apple Pencil.
