Relocated Items after upgrade - what files to compare (it was recommended)?

After upgrading macOS, I see the Relocated Items folder with recommendation to compare the two files and evaluate. But it is not clear what files should I compare? I can not find any similar files outside of Configuration folder.

Please advise. Thank you!

Direction is provided to the User/Shared/Relocated folders, but I cannot locate any files in these folders. There are seven, the first six marked 'Previously Relocated Items' 1-6, and the most recent one marked 'Relocated Items'. The only files in these folders is 'Configuration' (Library and Private containing no files), and 'Security', with a pdf explainer. Please help me...I've appear to have lost years of work!!!

Relocated Items Configuration files These configuration files were modified or customized by you, by another user, or by an app. The modifications are incompatible with the recent macOS upgrade. The modified files are in the Configuration folder, organized in subfolders named for their original locations. To restore any of the custom configurations, compare your modifications with the configuration changes made during the macOS upgrade and combine them when possible. My question is how to restore because not aware of the configuration changes happened during OS upgrade. Can't open all migrated files after upgrade.

Can I just bin the complete Recovered Items folder?

Just ignore it. This is a nice thing for those few people who actually do make configuration changes. However, Apple thoroughly botched the feature and now displays it to everyone, and usually incorrectly as well.
