The latest update keeps failing as it states I am not connected to the internet but I have already downloaded the update. Obviously something is wrong or the update is corrupt. How do I fix this?

If you're sure your iPad model support the current iPadOS version (14.7.1), be aware that, after downloading the update file, your iPad must perform (if connected to wifi network with Internet access) three main important steps:
