family sharing not working for apple music plan

just paid for the family plan for apple music but family sharing isnt allowing my friends to listen to music but is indicating them to pay for their own apple music. i need help

Make sure you followed all the steps in:

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

and

Get an Apple Music family subscription - Apple Support

Then if you still have the problem, you might be able to fix your issue by turning Sync Library off for all of your (and your family's) devices, then turning it back on again.  Learn how.
