why won't images load on safari

Safari won't load images nor let me download chrome

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

The fact it happens on neither Safari nor Chrome may have to do with your being on Mac OS X 10.10. If you are on a higher Mac OS, please update your profile.

If you are running 10.10, use a browser current for your OS: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250003586

Keep in mind any Mac running 10.10, can at least be upgraded to 10.11.6 for more current support.
