Apple Pencil gen2 not working on one note

I bought iPad Pro m1 chip with Apple Pencil gen 2 recently.while using it on one note the pencil stops in between a lot and starts again

Apple pencil not working properly I recently bought an iPad 9th generation and an apple pencil 1st generation. From the begging when i write (mostly i use goodnotes but it happens in other apps as well) sometimes it stops writing and its very annoying, most of the time i have to write randomly in another part of the page to make it work and it happens very often. I tried a few things: -Reconnecting the pencil -Restarting the iPad -Restoring the iPad -Writing without the case I thought the problem was the apple pencil but it turns out it works perfectly in other devices. Any ideas of what can I do?

Apple Pencil 2 just stops working on iPad AIr 5 with iOS 16.2 2023 This is my 2nd day of using the Pencil with GoodNotes. It is paired, it is charged, as is my iPad, and it WORKS...until it stops. This happened on day 1. Then Day 2, it starts working again, and nothing has changed. Then it stopped. I have seen this occurring in past years with the earlier iPad's, iOS and Pencils. But now I have brand new equipment. So...?

I am pretty sure that Microsoft One Note DOES NOT support the Pencil.

I find NO confirmation of this in their app description in the iOS App Store.

It mentions the use of a stylus, but NOT, specifically, the Pencil.

If it happens using that app only, please contact Microsoft Onenote Support Team and ask them.
