Bluetooth earphones on iPad

Hello,

I have a question regarding connecting wireless earphones from an other company than Apple, to iPad. In the specification of these earphones it is written that they work on Android and also iOS, but I know that the system that is on iPads is iPadOS and not iOS. Is it possible that this is why they can’t connect?

iOS (for iPhone) and iPadOS (for iPad) are essentially the same operating system. The differences between iOS and iPadOS are predominantly limited to the GUI (Graphical User Interface) and some native Apps.

Basic connectivity and WiFi and Bluetooth interface compatibility are identical.
