Links don't open in Gmail in Safari

Q - Links suddenly don't open in Gmail in Safari.

A - Cycle computer OFF then ON. (I know, seems too stupid easy, eh? It's true.)

Since then, I haven't been able to open hyperlinks from my Gmail in Safari - it starts loading then stops.
