AirPods are not showing on my devices

Can anyone please tell me why the AirPods are not showing on my devices along with iPhone, iPad and Watch? Or it's not considered as a device?

Thank you, sir. That explains why it does show up on my devices. But then I guess these are not registered anywhere for warranty even if you have bought apple care as an extended warranty?

If the purchase date there is not verified, you can add it.
