whats the solution when your iphone wont shut down and you cant access any apps?

Hi There!

I would refrain from letting the phone die just in case it doesn't turn back on. I would recommend doing a hard reset. Here is a link for the hard reset and a couple other options if that does not work.

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
