I wanted to see if there is a way to review video in the viewer at higher speed, like 1.5x, 2x, etc...
I have about 3 hours of raw footage course content I want to markup, and favorite clips for, but I don't want to review it at normal speed, so I can speed up my workflow.
Is there any way to do this in FCPX?
J K L as Tom says. Here's the list of all the keyboard shortcuts. J K and L are in the Playback and Navigation section. https://support.apple.com/guide/final-cut-pro/keyboard-shortcuts-ver90ba5929/mac
Press L to play. Tap twice for double speed, three for 4x, keep tapping it gets faster. Can't remember the steps after that. K to pause. J to play backwards. Again multiple taps will go faster.
