I'm not sure what I did, but the download folder in the dock changed from list form to icons. I'd really like to change it back to list, but I can't figure out how. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, FoxFifth for trying to help, but my screen doesn't look like yours in the screen shot. I don't have the symbols like you do.
Right-click the Download folder icon in the Dock.
Select "View content as" > "List".
EDIT - Use the Dock on Mac - Apple Support:
Open the folder and click where shown by the red arrow in the screenshot below and select List.
