I need to clear “other” storage on my iPad. This iPad is only 16 Gb capacity and I have only 800 Mb free to use. I had to offload the majority of my apps, and now my iPad is almost useless. iOS is 14.4.1; System files, 7.12 Gb; Other files, 6.78 Gb. In my iPhone 7 with 32 Gb, other storage is Zero KB. Help!

Restore the 16GB iPad from a backup.
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
That will fix the immediate problem. But bear in mind a 16GB iPad requires no less than 1.6GB (10%) remaining free at all times. Check your more obscure apps for memory leakage.
