How to edit albums in Music?

Sometimes when an album is download to my computer it puts some tunes in one album and some in another. I have been successful in some cases in consolidating the two by editing the 'get info' window but in some cases no matter what I do they will not combine into one album.

Any ideas? Is it possible to drag tunes from one album to another, or copy them?

Importing an album to Music app Hi, I have an mp3 music album that I want to be able to play through Apple Music. It's an advance release of an album that is not yet available in Apple Music for streaming or download. When I place the songs in the "Automatically Add to Music" folder, they seem to get added, but not as an album, even when I put them in a folder with the album title. how to select two albums in apple music? My apply music library is all out of whack. It seems to have decided that each song by a few of my artists are in fact whole albums. I'd like the search for the artist and then select all their music that is supposed to be in the same album and then do the "get info" thing on multiple items so that it then applied them back together as the album they came from. When I click on any of the album tiles in the search results, even if I hold shift first, it opens the album view - in itunes it used to helpfully expand the album list but then you could shift-click other albums to select. That isn't how Music works any more because apple knows better than its users - so my question is How do i get info on multiple albums at the same time?

Complilation album not loading all tracks together in the same album Trying to copy few mixtapes from pc onto itunes to play in apple music. running into the same problem to varying degrees regularly in that not all tracks from the same album are copying into itunes in the same way and order. For example the album has 20 tracks. 2-19 have all copied as they should but track number 1 is displaying as a separate album. I then tried to sync a different album but then all tracks were displayed as individual albums. any ideas? thanks

With a lot of persistence I figured out a way to do it.

Change the name of the album, edit the second album with the new name, Done and they combine Then edit and replace correct name.
