Hi, how do you delete certain parts of a backup (not icloud) of an iPhone on the computer? I need to delete a few photos so the backup could be small enough to restore to my iPhone 12.

Individual items cannot be removed from a backup. Those items needed to be removed from the previous phone before it was backed up.

Well, that's an issue, as I cannot restore the backup because there is not enough space, even after resetting the phone. Read about it here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252870945
