How to download itunes NOT via Windows download page?

I can not for the life of me figure out how to download the latest version of iTunes for my PC. Whenever I click to update it it brings me to the Microsoft site webpage to download it but it won't let me when I try to. Is there anywhere else to do this??? Why is it so complicated?
