How do I make the search bar live

Are you having difficulties finding the SpotLight Search feature from your iPad Home Screen - or something else?

If you are looking to Search from the Home Screen, simply touch any empty area of a Home Screen with your finger - other than the extreme edges edges or corners of the screen - and swipe downwards to expose the Search dialogue.
