Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS/Cellular) 40mm, sold out

I purchased a Apple Watch 6 with the Milanese Loop on June 7th. I was told to expect the watch in a couple days, maybe a week. However, after reading former texts, the delay in shipping is not a new problem.

My question is…

Why didn’t Best Buy’s sales associate tell the truth? If it is the band that is causing the delay, let the consumer make the choice, or buy it separately.

Also, a couple of days ago, the watch was being available, and is now sold out.

Does anyone know a basic time frame on delivery? FYI…I understand this is a first world problem and that there is a pandemic.
