Iphone 6s suddenly won't charge even when plugged in. I tried hard reset, cleaning the ports and swapping cables but of these options worked. Battery still not charging. It was working well for the past months.

It could be the phone, the charger, or the cable.
All you can do is try swapping them to figure it out.
BUT … backup you phone to iCloud NOW … while you still have battery power … just in-case.
