If I take my iPhone X to an Apple store to have the battery replaced, will the iPhone still be water resistant? I hear that buying a third-party battery will not include a replacement gasket.

Ah. Not like other companies where their reps monitor the forums and jump in occasionally to answer questions.
I wish Apple weren't so secretive about their products & services. Aside from my question in this post, it would be nice to know if the latest battery has been improved over the original. No specs offered and no statement of repair warranty that I can find. I guess I'll ask all these questions when I visit the Apple store and bail out if the $70 solution falls short of expectations.
