I bought the iPhone 12 UAE version and currently using it in Pakistan. However, after several attempts trying to activate facetime using different methods. It is still not activated. I also contacted the network provider but there was no issue from their end and I also tried to call apple support many times in Pakistan but its not reachable. Please advise.

iPhones which have UR just before the slash in their model numbers will only have FaceTime in Pakistan, and need to be running at least iOS 12.4.

Why is that so? Some of my friends who are using iPhones without UR in their model numbers have working FaceTime In Pakistan.
Any idea about apple support contact number in Pakistan?
