iPhone 12 back screen cracked
Can the back of the iPhone be repaired? Or does the whole phone have to be replaced?

The entire phone has to be replaced. The back glass is fused to the phone. If you bought AppleCare+ when you bought your phone a replacement phone will be very reasonably priced. Without AppleCare+ the replacement will cost about 60% of the cost of the phone when new.
