pages crashes on opening

almost brand new macbookpro - pages crashes immediately on opening. reloaded, restarted to no avail.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

This tend to happen when I have a lot of chrome tabs open in the background or lot of apps working in the background. Pages won't open, Start Page icons turn gray, have to keep restarting MacBook Air M1 This is a new problem, pages won't open and the Start Page icons turn gray. Once I restart, it's fine, but the problem keeps occurring. What is going on with this?

Macbook Air stalls/hangs up I have a Macbook Air, less than a year old. It stalls or hangs up when I either refresh a webpage or click a link in an article to go to a new tab and display that site. The only thing that sometimes works is to restart the computer. I reinstalled the operating system and it worked great for 2 days. Now, it's all hung up again.. hours later it finally loads the page. Any ideas? Thanks Bb

This is a frequently posted issue lately. The cure is to update your macOS to the current version (11.4) using System Preferences > Software Update.

Also, check the Mac App Store for updates to Pages. The current version is 11.1
