Getting continuous pop up Apple Watch Update

I am getting a continuous pop up Apple Watch Update. This appears to be malware. This issue was brought up in a previous Apple forum in 2020, but to be very honest the responses from Apple were not very helpful as they asked whether the Apple Watch had been lost or stolen and the just suggested contacting Apple Support.

This pop up looks like a regular Apple update but gives option of "Dismiss" or "Update". When you hit "Dismiss" the pop up occurs 15-45 seconds later and will not go away.
