The power adaptor is actually a DC power supply which can provide “up to” 96W of power.

However, the actual “charger” is built into each device.

Your device will only draw as much power as it needs from the power adaptor.

If it’s indeed an Apple (or Apple certified) power adaptor — AND Cable — you can safely use it on ANY Apple device.

Cheap “knock-off / counterfeit” power accessories can be damaging to your devices or even dangerous to YOU.
