Apple Watch ECG doesn’t work

Hasn’t worked since upgraded to Watch 6. Rarely starts ECG and if it does, it goes back to 30 dec after 1 second

Yes ECG is a separate app on the watch, so simply remove it as instructed here:

Delete apps from your Apple Watch – Apple Support

You can then reinstall it using the Watch app, from Discover > Explore Watch Apps. Search for ECG there.

It can be a bit difficult to find though, that is true..! The right one looks like this:

I’m not sure how to do that.. unless you mean remove the entire Health app from my phone? I haven’t tried that, will I lose data?

also heart rate seems to work fine, just not ECG and the problem seems to be with my watch specifically

OK well, could try deleting and reinstalling that app as well. Any difference if doing that?

Thank you! I uninstalled and reinstalled and have the same issue.

move tried someone else’s watch and had no issues. I also had someone else try mine and they couldn’t get it to work either.
