How can I open space on my disk if I can’t empty my trash?

I empty trash but not free disk space Good always. My first post here. I have read most of the replies and done all that has been suggested here or on other platforms, but so far have not been able to get back disk space. Request for some true help. Thank you.

disk full how do you delete items from your disk when it is full. I have tried deleting and it says i can not delete because the disck is full. Now what?

What is un the Trash?

Try emptying it in Safe Mode...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
